Our whole front porch! [4.2.13]
I don't know where the month of March went! Crazy! Sorry I've been missing for a while. I was finishing up a class and then had guests in town. So much fun! But now back to work!
I am finally getting our house the way I want it. Only a year and a half later... Have I mentioned that when we moved across the ocean we only brought our couches? Seriously. A couch and a love seat. That's when I started building. We needed furniture to fill up an entire house, but it's so expensive! And it's crap. And you still have to put it together. So I thought I should just start from scratch and build it out of real wood myself. And then I found Ana White. She gave me the confidence to do it all. Hooray!
Over the next few weeks I'm going to show you our whole house and give you tutorials on anything I haven't shared already. Today we're starting with the front of the house. I just finished a set of adirondack chairs for the front porch and they look so great! They've been on my to-build list for a while now and I'm so excited I finally finished them! Here we go! (Warning: I'm sharing tons of pictures today!)

Gotta represent the cowboy state! Fun part about living on base, people will just stop by the chat about being from Wyoming too. It's so fun!

The adirondack chairs I just finished. The pillows are from Lowes. [4.2.13]

We always need someplace to set our snacks, drinks and books when we're hanging out, watching the sun set over the Ko'olaus. It's a rough life, but someone has to live it.

I love that I can change out the signs on my posts all the time to match the holiday or season.

I just planted new flowers in my rocks in front of the house. We had these ugly bushy things before, but these are so much cuter!

Our front door! (I'm thinking a vinyl saying on the screen door would be cute, but I'm still not quite sure what to say. Any suggestions?)

I made this recently to match the signs on the posts. Just a grapevine wreath with a few fabric flowers and twine.
